• Project of separating large database more modular ones, and migrate the downstream consumers. This reduced the workload and risk for each database.

• Since I have worked ahead for my produce feature, and have time to spend, I requested for the ownership for this project, as a opportunity to learn, and obtain hands on experience on industry standard databases

• Understand the underlying infrastructure, design plans, and migrate down streams on by one

• Detailed read on internal documentation about our database design
• Arranged meeting with engineer responsible for this previously
• Carefully design the migration plan, and roll back plan, to reduce the risk of the migration.
• Research and identify all downstream stakeholder, have detailed discussion with them to see the scope of impact where the migration could cause.
• Migrate base the priority of the down stream

• Successfully migrated over 60 of downstream during my internship period, learnt a lot about industry scale database.
